About our name and the logo:
That isn’t a Photoshop, we went out to take pictures for our first release on tape and spotted some abandoned train cars off of the highway on the west side of Salt Lake City. This message had been spray-painted by some unknown, very likely drunk lover, proclaiming his undying affection to the unnamed Baby for the world to see. Anyone who has been in a band knows the pain of trying to come up with an original name that wasn’t a cliché, already taken, or just downright stupid. We found our band name and first album title in one fell swoop.
Individual songs with some tracks featuring a link to the original production.

Music and lyrics written in December 2025. A haunted inventory of missed chances and half-remembered nights, where old scenes linger like ghosts in the empty streets of memory. Part memory-piece, part reckoning, we wander the abandoned streets of what was, what wasn’t, and what almost was.
Inside My Ghost Town Head
Written in March of 2026. Music written by Joe, lyrics written by Briyan. “Flux” is a hard-edged push through collapse and comeback. It locks onto the moment where everything feels spent and forces motion anyway, turning pressure into propulsion. It’s about endurance under strain and the refusal to stay down.
Flux
Written in April of 2026. Music written by Joe, lyrics written by Briyan. A late-night confession that never quite leaves the lips. “As An Aside” drifts through smoky piano chords and second-thought silences, where truth circles the room but settles for a seat in the margins, half-spoken and already fading.
As An Aside
Music written in 2002. Lyrics written in 2026. Life may be handed to you, but what you do with it is anything but passive. “Given” wrestles with inevitability, pushing against the quiet pull of complacency and reminding us that standing still is its own kind of surrender.
Given
A couple of days after Joe handed off music for this one that he had titled “Goldfinch” (he felt especially cheerful while writing it and apparently the goldfinch is considered to be an extra cheerful bird), he got a text from Briyan that simply said, “Goldfinch was fun.” A bright little riddle in three-quarter time, “Mrs. Goldfinch” hums with suggestion, where every detail feels like a clue to something that refuses to be named. Written December 2025.
Mrs. Goldfinch
Written in March of 2026. Music written by Joe, lyrics written by Briyan. “Tarrytown” reflects on time spent standing still, where years gather and identity begins to echo back unfamiliar. Time slips past unnoticed—until the realization that it never defined you at all sets in. Piano by Joe, vocals and additional instrumentation by SunoAI.
